Overdue Pictures

Most of the cousins on Dads side.....

Well I have been waiting for pictures from Sarah from the holidays and she finally go them to me so I thought....... what the heck I will post them. We went to a wedding this weekend in decauter and it was actually quite a nice day to drive. Plus I have been so busy it was good to see Timmy and catch up on things.... I didn't bring my camera. I worked in the morning an then went straight there so lets say I wasn't posing for any cameras.

So on Thursday I have a brain EEG, then in the next few weeks I have a Brain MRA, 2-D Echo, then I will be wearing a Haulter monitor for a few days and an appointment with a cardiologist to figure out if there was anything more to me having these passing out spells. Against my will I went to see a primary care doctor and when I was giving him my history I guess I have passed out once or twice every year since 2002. Is that a big deal I have no idea but I guess we are going to find out. I am hoping for just a clean bill of health. I feel too young to have anything wrong with me. I tried to protest the tests but he said if there is something wrong it could eventually result in sudden death.....so I then was like fine I will make time!!!!! I sure don't anticipate anything but good news!!

On another note my eight week class is officially half way over. I have a test in my other class in two weeks and I have done pretty much everything today to avoid studying. There is so much to know as a nurse practitioner how will I ever fit it all in.......Sometimes I wonder...it is like a roller coaster sometimes I can get it right on and then some I am speechless.....It's very humbling....

and of coarse pictures of Sarah's dogs, she send pictures of them all the time. They are her babies.

Tim played in a soccer tournament all weekend long plus he is still battling his cold, not sure where he finds his drive....

One month closer to SPRING

That is all that is getting me through!!! I am so super busy girl. I am working on my days off at the VA off Grand for clinicals and can we say interesting..... It is actually pretty fun these vets crack me up!!!! I had one little old man stop me in the hall and ask me ,"if it was true that blonde's had more fun"..... they for the most part are very appreciative for the care and are humble about serving our country.  With the exception of a few that tell me that I owe them for what they did and I could repay them if I write them a prescription for Percocet.....Luckily for e Nurse Practitioners in the state of Missouri can not write for narcotics so I play on that!!! Anyway because everyone that reads this isn't a nurse I will spare you my gory stories...but lets just say that every day I am there it is VERY interesting. and I am getting good at Prostate exams.......(maybe I went too far with that)

We had a wedding last night and it was really fun.  We got to thinking that is about it for all of our friends now it seems as if everyone else has moved on to having babies. There were six couples at out table last night and 5 of them are pregnant.  It is almost like you can step back and watch your life go by in phases....first engagement, then wedding, then babies, then what.......not sure....growing old I guess. 

School is moving along and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  We booked our summer vacation we are escaping for 2 weeks this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT
